The North West London Teaching School Hub (NWLTSH) is part of the Department for Education’s national network of Teaching School Hubs, serving a broad community of schools across North West London. Led by Wembley High Technology College, the hub delivers high-quality teacher development programmes, including the Early Career Framework (ECF), National Professional Qualifications (NPQs), and Initial Teacher Training (ITT) support.
The aim of the North West London Teaching School Hub website project was to develop a clear, accessible, and professional digital platform that effectively communicates the hub’s full offer to schools and educators across the region. The website needed to present comprehensive information on key programmes, including the Early Career Framework, National Professional Qualifications, and Initial Teacher Training, in a way that is easy to navigate and understand. It was important that the site catered to a wide range of users, such as early career teachers, mentors, and school leaders, by offering a well-structured and intuitive experience. The platform also had to support regularly updated content, such as programme deadlines and event details, while remaining simple for hub staff to manage without technical assistance. Ensuring accessibility and mobile responsiveness was essential to the success of the project.
