About Wembley Multi-Academy Trust.
Wembley Multi-Academy Trust (WMAT) is a multi-academy trust based in North West London, comprising a number of primary and secondary schools.
The trust also leads the North West London Teaching School Hub (NWLTSH), part of the Department for Education’s national network of Teaching School Hubs. Led by Wembley High Technology College, the hub delivers teacher development programmes across the region.
The project
What the project set out to do.
The goal of the Wembley Multi-Academy Trust (WMAT) school websites project was to create modern, user-friendly and mobile-responsive websites for each school within the trust. Each site needed to reflect the unique ethos and identity of the individual schools while maintaining consistency with the overall branding and standards of WMAT. The websites were designed to improve communication with parents, students and the wider community, providing easy access to important information such as school values, admissions, events and news.
A key objective was to ensure the sites were easy for school staff to manage independently, with an intuitive content management system (CMS) allowing for efficient updates.
The same approach was used for the North West London Teaching School Hub website: a clear, accessible platform presenting the full offer for early career teachers, mentors and school leaders, with programme deadlines and event details that hub staff can keep up to date without technical help.
